Join The Big Dig this summer and help WaterAid bring clean, safe water to the people of Malawi.

Malawi is one of the world’s poorest countries, and every year more than 9,000 children die from diarrhoea caused by drinking dirty water.

This summer, WaterAid aims to raise enough money through The Big Dig appeal to change the lives of more than 134,000 people by helping them get access to clean water, but we can’t do it without your help! Every gift you give to The Big Dig from 18 June to 18 September 2012 will be doubled by the UK Government, helping us to bring clean water and sanitation to twice as many people, and transform twice as many lives forever.

What’s more – you can follow the story on the Big Dig blog!  Through videos, films and blog posts you’ll meet the people in Malawi whose lives are being changed thanks to your support. You can follow their progress over the summer as they go from living without clean water, to receiving it for the very first time.

Just £15 can bring clean, safe water for life to one person so every penny really counts.

We’ve already had some amazing support from celebrities who also want to help bring clean water to thousands of people in Malawi and help to stop more children dying needlessly.

Join them and go to www.thebigdig.org today to show your support and spread the word!
