John Simm Original – Art & Soul Auction Item

On Friday 12th July 2013, The Kaos Organisation will host a fundraising event of celebrity art and auction fun. The event is to raise money for The Kaos Signing Choir for Deaf and Hearing Children.

Guests at the event will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly and treated to a sumptuous 3-course dinner (including wine) and an exciting auction of 20 to 25 unique artworks provided by celebrities from film, TV, music and sport, all overseen by a celebrity host. There will also be performances by The Kaos Signing Choir for Deaf and Hearing Children and the adult choir The Angels of Kaos. The event will be sign language interpreter.

So far we have artwork from Lord Sebastian Coe, Simon Pegg, Martin Freeman, John Simm, Hugh Dennis, Eddie Mair, Pauline Collins, Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry, Joan Armatrading, Felicity Kendall and Olympian Katherine Grainger. More to be announced soon.

The only way to get your hands on one of these unique artworks is to come and join the fun on July 12th.

The Kaos Organisation is a registered charity. It receives no formal funding for its activities and depends completely on donations and money raised from fundraising events like this one. All of the money from the ticket price will go direct to the charity.

I’d love to go to that – but I’m on holiday. What a good cause though – I work with someone who is profoundly deaf, I will ask if they have heard of the Kaos Signing Choir. I can’t bear the thought of a world without music and think it’s great to know that there is an alternative for the hearing impaired.
