“Today marks the anniversary of Ian McCulloch’s third album, Slidling, released in 2003. Featuring some fantastic artists like Chris Martin, Johnny Buckland, John Simm, Peter Wilkinson, and Barrie “Barriemore” Barlow, and is produced by Cenzo Townshend. It’s interesting to note that the album was initially meant to be called Sliding, but Ian’s manager misspelt it, and Ian loved the new name so much that he decided to stick with it.
